This is a blog written by Norwegian writer/filmmaker Karsten Meinich, and the goal with this project is to write about all kinds of cinema, short and long, popular and obscure. Being based in Norway, my point of view is most certainly off-the-map, and most films I see are subtitled. Hence the name of this blog. Also please bear in mind that English is not my mother tongue – I’ll do my best!

This is such a well designed website. I found it while looking for the short film “J’Attendrai Le Suivant”. A friend sent me the link for this film and I was actually looking another link with English subtitles:-) Having found this, I’ve now put this link on my facebook wall.

I think maybe I am a professional film viewer only, Movie attract me because I can analyze and speculate many model of life and characters,It help me to discovering the hidden layer of human personality and complexity.Yet,I have many director and film maker friends who are young and belonging to neo-wave filmmakers in Iran.We have the weekly film community in the freindly space.Each weekend we SEE a film althogether and discuss about that! Surly,I will intruduce your blog to them,
Also I am very keen on to share our opinion and viewing the same film simultaneously and discuss about the various layers,
